After two successful editions, the contemporary photography fair: fotofever is back in Brussels before spreading its fever towards Paris, the world capital of photography!


Infused with talent, fotofever explores the diversity of today’s photography thanks to 70 galleries and publishers showcasing renowned artists as well as exciting newcomers and sparkling the vocation of collecting.


The spirit of fotofever is about conviviality and engagement in order to help to discover photography in an approach far from prejudices in a sharing and lively venue.


Recently considered as a major art, photography has a great potential to expand thanks to its popularity, its format and its accessibility.

The strength of contemporary photography is that artists can be met and that prices are still very reasonable.


Also to please the eye of art lovers (young collectors, collectors, amateurs, galleries and institutions) fotofever presents a unique private collection, a collector’s guide, a program of discussions as well as the exposure of the fotoprize’s winner 2013.


fotofever brussels will take place from October 4th to 6th, 2013 in the heart of the town under Tour & Taxis’s glass roof, industrial building from the early twentieth century.

Belgium has a strong art culture thanks to great collections and collectors. In Brussels two major art fairs are already taking place for several decades: Brafa (antiques) in January and Art Brussels (only contemporary art) in April. Fotofever is aiming for the 3rd place. As capital of Europe, Brussels is uniquely positioned to help spread of the fever for the acquisition of photography.


fotofever paris will capture the world capital of photography from November 15th to 17th at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre. A legendary space to meet international photography collectors, gathering in Paris on the occasion of Paris Photo, held at the same time in the Grand Palais.
