What began as an initiative by young gallerists in 1996, developed into one of the most important fairs for contemporary young art in the world. For 20 years, the fair has been making relevant contributions to the promotion of young artists and galleries. The intentionally low number of 78 galleries and the high level of sophistication of those galleries are reasons for LISTE’s extraordinary success, international reputation and drawing power.
New curator for the Performance Project at LISTE - Art Fair Basel
Ms. Eva Birkenstock has been selected as curator of the independent Performance Project at LISTE - Art Fair Basel. In 2015, she will curate – for LISTE’s 20th anniversary – the 12th edition of the Performance Project. Ms. Birkenstock succeeds Fabian Schöneich, who is now the new curator of Portikus, Frankfurt.
