SWAB Barcelona was born in 2006, as an initiative from the private collection Diezy7 Contemporary Art Space, in order to give to Barcelona a vision of the latest global trends in contemporary art and give visibility to the dynamism and artistic panorama of the city.

In 2015, after eight editions, Swab occupies a relevant position among contemporary art fairs on the international scene. It has more than 60 galleries from 5 continents, more than 18,000 visitors per edition and a large number of curated programs, awards and activities related to emerging art that are held throughout the year in the city. Swab Barcelona is an alternative, transgressive and innovative show. A place to discover the newest artistic proposals, meet the vision of the current context with artists from many parts of the world, start or deepen in art collecting and be seduced by contemporary art at its finest.
