Art Toronto Canada’s international fair for modern and contemporary art, returns this fall from October 28-31. Now in its 17th year, Art Toronto is excited to welcome an impressive lineup of Canadian and international galleries alongside a roster of cultural partners, art publications, and feature projects, showcasing important artwork from over 14 countries.
FOCUS: LATIN AMERICA
Art Toronto is thrilled to continue the exploration of art from Latin America with a second installment of FOCUS: LATIN AMERICA at this year’s fair. In collaboration with curator Isabela Villanueva, FOCUS: LATIN AMERICA will investigate the urban culture and theme of the ever-changing city. In addition to the curated program, leading galleries from across Latin America will present work for sale.
Other features of Art Toronto include PLATFORM, a series of lectures and panel discussions from prominent art world figures as well as the inclusion of POWER TALKS organized in partnership with the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, a publication lounge where patrons can browse cutting-edge international art editorial, video and feature project programming, and an extensive VIP Program.
Art Toronto is also excited to welcome the return of RBC as the fair's Presenting Sponsor, AXA Art Insurance as the Official Art Insurer, Canadian Art as the Official Visual Arts Media Partner and ARTSY as the Online Preview Partner. The 2016 fair takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from October 28-31, 2016.
