Comments: Early in his career, he painted stage sets for the old Metropolitan Opera House and silent movie houses in NY and NJ. From c.1915-30, he painted watercolors and etched street scenes of NYC in the style of the "Ashcan School." His etchings were reproduced in Print Quarterly. After 1930, he focused on watercolor, producing New England landscapes and snow scenes.
