Comments: Abstract sculptor of the 1930s. After studying in Paris to returned to the NYC in 1936. He worked for three years for the WPA/Federal Art Project but most of his sculptures were destroyed when the project ended. During the 1950s, he taught at the Sch. Visual Arts, NYC. From 1962-84 he lived in Rome, Italy, where he had a studio and foundry. In 1982, he was finally able to have several of his modernist plasters of the 1930s (Intimacy," "Duet," and "Masquerade") cast into bronze in limited editions of 8. Also made Futurist drawings.
