Comments: He advertised as a physiognotrace profilist in Charleston (S.C.) in 1804, and is known to have painted several profiles in Philadelphia in 1834. In the Philadelphia directories he was listed as carver and gilder (1800-06, 1814-21), looking glass maker (1823-25), and painter (1829-33).
