Comments: Active 1830-57. Stauffer states that Booth was apprenticed to a NYC engraver in 1830 and that he returned to NYC in 1857 after working in Cincinnati and Chicago. He is listed in the Cincinnati directories for 1849-50, 1853 (as a resident of Newport, Ky.) and 1855, but does not appear in either the Chicago or NYC directories.
