Comments: In Ohio he became acquainted with the young historical painter Sylvester Genin (see entry), and engraved a number of his paintings for Selections from the Works of the Late Sylvester Genin (1855). Anderson also engraved a map of the ancient world, showing modern place names and boundaries.
