Comments: Partner with John Genin (see entry) in Pierson & Genin (1871-72); and with Paul Poincy (see entry) in Pierson & Poincy (1872-73). He specialized in horse paintings but also collaborated on several large paintings. In 1868 he and Theodore Sydney Moise (see entry) collaborated on the grand Life on the Metairie", an historical painting which won best prize at the Grand State Fair. In 1872 he and Paul Poincy worked together to create "Volunteer Firemen's Parade," which was over 12 feet long and included portraits of over 126 firemen.
