Comments: Quesenbury (pronounced Cushenbury") was well known throughout Arkansas as an editor of the Arkansian to which he also contributed cartoons under the name of "Bill Cush." He also made views of Fayetteville buildings. In 1851 he was editor of the Sacramento Union, Sacramento, CA. That same year he joined J. Wesley Jones (see entry) and others on a sketching trip in Nevada, Utah and California.
