Comments: Founded by Edward c.1849, Theodore joined the company in the mid 1850's and, in 1860, William Sachse (see entries on each). They produced lithographies of city views as well as maps and drawings of steamboats and machinery, amongst others. In the 1880's, Adolph Sachse continued the company's tradition by drwaing and printing two lithographs of Washington, DC.
