Comments: A daughter of Thomas Sully (see entry). She traveled with her father on several of his painting trips, including to England in 1838 when he painted a portrait of Queen Victoria; and to Charleston in 1841, when she made some sketches of Charleston scenes. Her sisters Rosalie, Ellen, and Jane were also painters.
