Comments: He emigrated to the U.S. in 1913, settling in Providence, RI. Beginning in 1917, he was a silverware designer for Gorham Co., and by 1927 he was teaching at RISD. In 1948 he was appointed Chief Designer for Gorham"s Bronze Division, where he designed numerous bronze plaques until his retirement in 1966. He painted landscapes around New England, including Lake Winnepesaukee, NH, and Boothbay, ME.
