Comments: He and H.W.Zastrow-Kussow (see entry) took over Louis Lipman's firm after his death in 1869 and ran it until 1871, when they moved to Chicago. In Milwaukee they lithographed the earliest known bird's-eye views by view artist H.H.Bailey.
