Comments: Started as bookkeeper in 1842, who later became professor of drawing at Mandeville College (1844). In 1849 he advertised the sale of his lithograph of AbbÈ Rouquette, the first native of N.O. to be ordained a Catholic priest and in 1851 he was in the firm of FondÈ & Belknap, restorers of paintings, landscape painters, views of country houses and others, in Mobile, AL.
