Comments: Positions: artist, Hallmark Cards, Kansas City. He founded the Asylum Press, and in 1967 moved to New York, where he was a regular contributor to Playboy magazine. He also worked for the underground press, New York Free Press and others. His work is powerful and startling in its unorthodox symbolism, inviting strong reactions by the viewer. The New York Times Op-Ed pages published many of his works since 1971. Auth./illus.: Human Scandals, (Th. Y. Crowell Company, 1977).
