Comments: Immigrated to the U.S. in 1907, at first as a ranch hand and gold miner. After studying in San Francisco, around 1912 he concentrated on etchings of the city, producing many views of Telegraph Hill, Chinatown, the wharfs, the East San Francisco Bay area, and the Sierra Nevada mountains. His edition sizes were usually about 50, and he produced his etchings into the 1970s.
