Publishing Classified or Auction Ads

At the top right, log in using your access codes and in " My account", click on "My Store" or "My Marketplace dashboard" > "Sell".

Follow the steps below. A precise and complete announcement with attractive visuals reassures future buyers.

 

STEP 1 : Choose the type of ad

Classified ads : you set a price, and buyers contact you directly (via private message or your contact details visible on your ad). You manage payment and shipping directly with the buyer. There are no Artprice fees.

Auctions : you set a starting price, the duration of the auction is 3 days minimum and 14 days maximum, your anonymity is preserved and payment is secured through a trusted third party. Artprice fees vary between 5 and 9% (calculate fees here). Auctions user's guide

 

STEP 2 : Choose the category: ART, DESIGN or ANTIQUES

 

STEP 3 : Complete the description of the work

Name of the artist, details of the work and visuals (category, technique, dimensions, signature, etc.)

The "Comments" section allows you to give a description of the work or the history of its ownership or any other information you deem useful.

You have the possibility to post up to 5 images per ad (in Jpg or png format, minimum size 512 pixels x 512 pixels max.).

Your advertisement must have at least 1 visual of the work (without frame, background or with a neutral background for objects and works in 3 dimensions) to be published.

In addition to a quality overview, do not hesitate to add images of the back of the work, of the signature, of the numbering, of distinct signs (stamps, etc.), or of details on the state of conservation.

You can change the framing of your visual directly below the image: click the "Resize/Rotate" button, crop and save changes.

 

STEP 4 : Indicate if you have supporting documents

Certificate of authenticity and/or Invoice and/or Catalog Raisonné (the references of the catalog raisonné must be correctly filled in: title, edition, year, page).

 

STEP 5 : Choose a price and finalize the other auction details.

  • Classified ads: Indicate the amount you are asking for
  • Auctions : Indicate the start and end date of the auction (min 3 days and max 14 days)
    - Set the amount and choose your currency. (If in doubt about the value of the work, you can use our Artpricing service to estimate the price of your work) .
    - Specify the delivery terms (payment of fees, weight and number of packages).

 

STEP 6 : Check the T&Cs box

Click "Confirm" and your ad will be online within 48 hours.
