Showcasing a distinctive international vision at the 5th Anniversary of Guardian Fine Art Asia

China's Top-Notch Antique Design Expo Poised to Witness A Grand Era of Chinese Culture and Art

As a leader of antique, classical art and design expositions in China, Guardian Fine Art Asia (“GFAA”) is to celebrate its fifth anniversary. From the China Millennium Monument to No. 1 Wangfujing Street, exhibitors at GFAA have been expanding steadily and making continuous improvement. From October 24 to 28, GFAA will present viewers with more grand art feasts of even greater value.

The 5th GFAA Anniversary presents a distinctive international vision

GFAA is an international art expo brand co-built by Guardian Art Center and Hong Kong-based Fine Art Asia. It aims to bring together a wide range of top international art galleries and antique dealers to present viewers with important cross-regional and cross-era works of art. Since its inauguration in 2014, GFAA has gradually upgraded into China's top-notch antique design art expo. Leveraging powerful customer resources and upholding a philosophy of openness and diversification, it establishes a premium art trading service platform for exhibitors and collectors both at home and abroad.

Over the past five years, GFAA has drawn upon its keen insight into the art market and gradually follow the trend of diversification, reflecting forward-looking changes in the art market and rich aesthetic tastes of the collector community. From paying much attention to traditional Chinese art to gradually appreciating Western and contemporary art, from valuing Oriental aesthetics to recognizing Western modern aesthetic tastes, collectors show increasing interest in Western antiques, classical oil paintings and modern design.

Accurately seizing changes in the art market and collectors' aesthetics, GFAA has brought in more and higher quality international art galleries and established an international art trading service platform between exhibitors and collectors, fully showcasing a distinctive international vision and landscape of its own.

The 5th anniversary GFAA has attracted more than 40 galleries to exhibit, including not only local Chinese art leaders but also top-class galleries from Europe, North America, and China’s Hong Kong. The exhibits on display will cover Eastern and Western antiques, classical arts, design and decorative arts, jewelry and clocks among other categories, effectively presenting a grand artistic feast for collectors and viewers.

The 5th GFAA Anniversary establishes a bridge for Eastern and Western cultural exchanges

GFAA 2018 will continue to focus on cultural exchanges between China and the West, and build a platform for cultural exchanges between the east and the west. It is here that the two long rivers of classical Western art and traditional Oriental culture could meet.

GFAA 2018 will feature both Eastern and Western art classics: Andy Hei Ltd, a specialist in Chinese antique furniture and ancient art, will bring Ming and Qing furniture; David Aaron, known as the world's “oldest and most outstanding Gallery of ancient art”, will take its collection of art treasures from the Tigris and Euphrates basins to the expo; Bitchoff, an dealer exclusively trading in European antique furniture and art from the 18th to 19th centuries, will bring in rare European antique furniture; ANTIQUE RUG STUDIO, a specialist in antique carpets, will take rare carpets from the East and the West to the event. All the exhibitors represent the highest level in their respective fields. As for jewelry design, GFAA 2018 will feature leading Western design names like Israeli jewelry dealer Yvel, as well as Oriental jewelry giants such as KAI-YIN LO, SUMMUS FAYEL and others.

Invaluable treasures of Eastern and Western art will meet at the 5th GFAA Anniversary and satiate the great artistic appetite of attending guests and friends alike.

The 5th GFAA Anniversary establishes a niche of artistic and life aesthetics

GAFF’s 5th Anniversary Design Section has been constantly upgraded to enrich the sections and content of the expo. GFAA 2018 invites internationally renowned designers to join hands with premium organizations to make bold exportations in the field of design, so that diversified design inspirations can collide and emit sparks of art and encourage deep explorations in design, space aesthetics and life aesthetics. In addition, Guardian Art Center has meticulously planned a special 5th anniversary event for GFAA to put on a grand audiovisual feast for the audience.

The year 2018 witnesses the 25th anniversary since the founding of Guardian China. Over the past 25 years, Guardian China has seized various opportunities for transformation and upgrade and led China’s cultural industry to one higher level after another, contributing to a grand era of cultural and art development in China. GAFF seeks to explore a new way of art trading beyond auctions. It aspires to make more people fall in love with art and life, establish a diversified, stable and lasting comprehensive art service platform. Meanwhile, GFAA will incubate with its own brand promising exhibitions or high-value art projects, to benefit the development of cultural and creative industries in Beijing, and to encourage the continuous maturity of China’s art market.

The GFAA 2018 as China's top-notch antique and design art expo, is about to kick start and awaits your presence!
