STUDY OF AN APOSTLE (recto) TWO STUDIES FOR AN APOSTLE WHO CARRIES A BOOK (verso) 

Black chalk, heightened with white, on greyish paper. 403 x 278 mm. The two studies are preparatory for two of the figures of apostles, in the foreground at left, in the large altarpiece l'Assunta, painted by Zoboli, 1732-1735, in the Duomo Nuovo in Brescia.
