Provenance: Commission from Andy Warhol to private collection, NYC 1979 via Obelisk Gallery (Boston). To present owner.

The first is the portrait of a society lady from around 1979-80. Warhol often was paid to paint portraits of wealthy New Yorkers and this was commissioned around the time he completed his portrait of fashion icon Carolina Herrera (as you will see in the photo). The work is in good condition.
