Artwork description

Oil on canvas marouflée on cardboard. Around 1930, he belongs to the group of neo-humanists with whom Waldemar George is interested, alongside Christian Bérard, Tchelitchev, Eugène Bermann and Jean-Francis
Laglenne. He is naturalized French in 1936. The figurative paintings in the style of our scene correspond to the years 1930-1932 but the hereabove scene taken place in Israel make sense of the same year 1932 period as one can hardly  evoke landscapes of Israel without mentioning Palestine & Arabic side.
