Danilo AGUILÓ is born in San Pedro de Macoris, the Dominican Republic. His vocation for the art was inherited from his father, who felt deep inclination towards paintings. AGUILÓ studied in his province taught by Master of Fine Arts Nidia SERRA, when he was just 11 years. He later joined the prestigious Guillo PERÉZ's School of Art, under the guidance of the Maestro himself. 

AGUILÓ participated in several group and solo exhibitions, specially in New York (Church Mediator Bronx,  Northern Manhattan Improvement Corp NMIC, METLIFE Lobby Garage 2...) . 

His work is principally inspired by the Caribbean sea, sugarcane landscapes, & women, always,  on different nuances of pastel colors.
