Stylistically and technically the drawing can be compared to a group of drawings by Gaspare Diziani kept in the Correr Museum in Venice, such as the "Allegory of Time", "The Figure of Atlanta", "The Assumption of the Virgin" and "The Annunciation" (inv.nos.965,5575,5592,963). As all these drawings are dated to the second half of the 1740's, the same dating can be assigned to the present drawing.
