Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Henri Matisse" in the lower right margin.
It is also hand-numbered in pencil from the edition of 100, in the lower right margin. There were also a small number of artist’s proofs aside from the standard edition of 100.
This composition was inspired by a painting realised by the artist in Nice titled "L'Odalisque couchée, Harmonie Rouge, 1927”.
It was printed at Duchatel, Paris.

Other impressions of this work are held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
