René Prin was born on January 15, 1905 in Mortery in Seine-et-Marne.
In 1927, after his marriage, he moved to the restaurant “La Mère Corbeau” founded by his in-laws. Despite his occupations in the kitchen, he continues to transpose his feelings onto the canvas. His numerous paintings are still exhibited in the greatest galleries in the world.
René Prin died in 1985 and is buried in the Pacy cemetery.
