Observations

"Daughters of Odessa" is Hart's allegorical tribute to the four daughters of Czar Nicolas martyred during the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. He felt that the four daughters personified all that is beautiful and innocent in the world, which had been much forgotten by the end of the 20th Century.

This was his call to remember, "The ability to have FAITH, sustain HOPE, feel the transforming power of BEAUTY and to revel in the INNOCENCE around us."
