Comments: She came to NYC in the mid-1850s with her brothers, James and William Hart (see entries), both well-known painters, and her first husband Marion R. Beers. She signed and exhibited as Julie H. Beers and continued to do so after her remarriage to Peter Kempson in 1877. She visited New Orleans in 1888.
