Comments: Traveled to Denver in 1880, possibly working with Wm. H. Jackson. In 1885, he opened his portrait studio in Omaha, NE. In 1898, he became official photographer for the 1898 Trans-Miss. & Int. Expo, where he photographed 500 delegates from 36 tribes of the U.S. Indian Congress, including Geronimo, Red Cloud, and White Swan. Later, he traveled to the reservations and made more than 1,200 portraits in 8x 10" size as platinum prints.
