Comments: She arrived in Phila. in 1920s and for many years owned and ran the London Shop, a floral store. She took up painting when she was in her sixties, producing floral, marine plant-life, and animal pictures, and gaining popularity for her primitive style. Her home and studio in New Hope was located in a house built in 1753, the oldest house in that town.
