Painted variations of the landscape around the village of Lyons-la-Forêt in Normandy where the painter bought his house called Les Terrasses around 1910. He settled there from 1919 permanently. Scenes from same area show Normandy male paysans plowing the field & here laundresses at the river. Houses comparable in these paintings & old bridge very present. Very good condition.
