Creating since the 1990s, French artist Laurence Jenkell alias JENK is known worldwide for her brightly colored Wrapping Bonbon sculptures. 

She carves larger-than-life candies, in vivid colors and sizes, from materials such as bronze, plexiglass, aluminum and marble. Although candy remains her favorite subject, her latest packaging creations, “wrapping twists” reflect environmental problems such as the depletion of coffee-producing land, the proliferation of non-biodegradable disposable products and the poaching of endangered animals. 

JENK was awarded Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by french Minister of Culture in 2020. Her works are present in more than 50 countries in numerous galleries and in important private, public and institutional collections.
