Pablo PICASSO - Still Life with Charlotte Cake

This work is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Picasso" at the lower right margin.
It is hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 350, at the lower left margin.
It is also signed and dated in the plate "Picasso 24" in the upper right image.
The work was printed in the 1950's in a limited edition of 350 impressions and published by Guy Spitzer, Paris.
The paper bears the ink stamp of the publisher "Guy Spitzer. Éditeur, Paris" verso, as well as the Spitzer blindstamp in the lower right corner of the image.
It is based on an oil painting by Picasso from 1924 that is now in the collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and previously as in the collection of Maurice Meunier.

Condition: Good condition. Bands of skinning along the sheet edges, recto. The inkstamp faded, verso. Soft handling creases at the extreme edges of all margins.
