This work is a masterpiece painted in Paris.  The canvas comes from the collection of the great art critic and collector - Michel Tapié.  This painting is reproduced in full color page in an anthology book that the latter co-wrote in 1961 with the Japanese art historian, Tore Haga: 'Avant-Garde Art in Japan'.  In this book, Tapié presents the works of 39 Japanese artists who are to his view "the essential of all the Japanese avant-garde".
