Born in Havana in 1977, SANDOR graduated from the Academia de Artes Plásticas of San Alejandro. The recurring themes in SANDOR's work of floating cities, burning towers, ghostly inhabitants & imaginary architecture, are always thought-provoking.
SANDOR has practiced tattooing since 1993 & has illustrated magazines, designed album covers, worked on textile, for movies, participating in about 40 murals since 2006, including the famous Liberty Arch located at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana.
70 solo & group exhibitions worldwide. SANDOR's works are part of private collections in the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Bolivia, as well as in institutions in Cuba, Spain, and Italy.
SANDOR is also a founding member of the ‘Martha Machado Artists Brigade' established to create art alongside fellow Cubans who experienced the devastating effects of the 2008 hurricane.
