David Gerstein is a contemporary artist from Israel who works in a unique technique of “wall sculptural painting”. Crafted from lightweight yet durable aluminum, his work combines the vibrancy of painting with the airiness of sculpture. 

The presented wall sculpture is constructed from parallel, interconnected 3 metal layers fastened together and painted by hand. The layers are not solid - they are cut in accordance with the plot of the work, air passes through them freely.
