Galerie de Buci presents its new exhibition: 'Living Gods', a selection of paintings by Icelandic artist Reinar Foreman. The artist lives and works in Reykjavik, and his work has already been the subject of several solo and group exhibitions in Europe: in Germany, Russia and Iceland. "Living Gods" is his first solo exhibition in France, presenting fifteen new paintings that are part of Reinar Foreman's creative journey, while affirming his artistic identity.

Reiner Foreman, born in 1993, is a self-taught artist who began to define himself as such at the age of 22. His parents encouraged him to take up art. After a trip to South America, he painted his first portrait, which was quickly sold. Thanks to this first sale, he was able to buy more canvases and materials to continue painting.His palette is brilliant and almost artificial, with notable influences from Francis Bacon, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. His paintings are bursting with intensity: in the boldness of the colours, the shapes, and the contrast between his silhouettes and the space in which they stand.Today, having been exhibited in several galleries in Europe (Reykjavik, Berlin, Moscow), he is establishing his presence internationally. His work can be found in a number of private collections.
