Complete set of three lithographs in colours, comprising the triptych, each hand signed in pencil by the artist ""Francis Bacon"" at the lower right margin. Each sheet is also inscribed in pencil “HC” hors commerce [out of trade] at the lower left margin. This set is one of 23 hors commerce aside from the standard edition of 60 at the lower left margin. There were also 8 artist’s proof impressions. They were printed by Art Estampe, Paris and published by IRCAM for the Georges Pompidou Centre, Paris. Each sheet bears the Arches infinity watermark in the lower right margin.
